Day 9: Epworth & John Wesley's Home
Thursday, July 30, 2009
We took the express train (125mph) to Doncaster, and then a bus to Epworth where John Wesley’s home was. They served us a nice lunch, provided a guided tour, and then we walked to the Anglican Church where John and Charles’ father, Samuel, was rector.
King’s Cross Train Station (where’s platform 9 3/4?)
The home where John Wesley was born --
actually a “new” home (built in 1709) replacing the house where John was born.
