We are scheduled to visit Epworth (about 160 miles north of London by train) and give performances in Ampthill and Watford.
London was founded by the Romans in about 33AD (sections of the Roman wall built in the 3rd century around "the City" are still standing). Explosive growth in the 18th and 19th centuries made London the biggest and wealthiest city in the world, creating a prosperous middle class for the first time. It's current population is about 7.5 million (12.5 million in the metro area). It is Europe's largest city and the business center of the continent.
